through the rain washed lane
of a tiny village
tucked deep in my brain
the earth would smell
of the fragrance of your skin
your breath upon my cheeks
as you turn towards the wind
the heady scent of champak flowers
the distant singing bird
the lonely rain drop on your nose
I soak them all in greed
hearts would beat in tandem
our bodies close and warm
and then you touch me
a finger down my arm
would the clouds burst again
the river swell in me
and will the river find its way
to sumberge with the sea
River always find its way to submerge with the sea, if no one built the dam in between ..:))..good one smee...& I am so happy to see u back ..)
ReplyDeleteThank you my dear, love you.
Deletewell written---simple and niceeee---yeah, rivers meander and someday would submerge into the sea---some dry up enroute--. Thinking out of the box---some get surrounded by their own banks and become still ponds.
